You should be fine..as long as you have kept up and had your shots on time...there is no reason to worry. Just know that Depo can someetimes stop your period from coming on, which makes a lot of women think they are pregnant.

If you have had 2 shots and had unprotected sex there is a good chance that you are not pregnant. With 2 shots that is 6 months of having the birth control in your body. I was on the Depo for 2 years and never got pregnant but some women do so if you don't want to have a baby right now then I would still use protection. I never did but just to be safe I would.

The depot shot normally kicks in within 2-3 weeks and then you are fine. I was on it for 3 years and never got prgnant. Only thing is, it took me another 3 years after I got off of it to be regular again. I know that these effects everyone differently, but it really messed me up. Be careful! And if you and your husband decide to have kids, give yourself almost a year to get pregnant, cause sometimes it can take that long. Or not, cause a friend of mine missed hers by 2 weeks and got pregnant. Like I said, depends on the person, but dont be late taking it, and you will be fine.

You might want to look into the side effects of the Depo shot. I had 2 cycles, then decided to have a baby. We tried for a year before finding out that the Depo shot had stopped my body from ovulating all together. Luckily they gave me clomid to resatrt fertility, and it worked.

Depo is EVIL!!!!!!!!!!
I only had 2 shots and it rocked my world. My hair started falling out and breaking off, I started having panic attacks and MAJOR mood swings. The last shot I had was in 11-03 and we have been trying ever since to have a baby to no success. If I were you, I would find another method of b/c.

If you have had to shots- then no it has had time to get into your system- you will not get pregnant! you should be so lucky to have the depo work for you- i was one in 5 woman who menstruated the whole time- it sucked-

Do some research- depending how long you are on it- the longer it takes for it to wear off so you can concieve

I was getting the shot for two yrs. You should'nt get pregnant as long as the shots on time, and you don't mise them.
