i asked this question in a different category, but thought ide try this one for more responses.....

when it comes to pms and my cycle....
its quite annoying, esp when your jeans dont fit normally and you look fat in everything lol i look like i gained at least 5 or 10 pounds...its scary LOL (well maybe not 10 pounds...but ALOT)

i take midol, but it doesnt always seem to help...all it really does is make me hyper, stops the cramps tho, but not always bloating.

Any advice? maybe something that works for you

To help control bloating, drink lots of water(8 or more glasses a day). I know it sounds weird, but the reason why your body is retaining water is because it doesn't have enough so it's holding on to it. Drink more & you'll be all set.

Take a water pill. The Water Pill acts as a gentle diuretic to help promptly increase the outflow of temporary excess body water and help relieve puffiness, bloat, swelling, pressure and the full feeling associated with the premenstrual and menstrual periods.

I have the same problem - my husband can even tell when I'm bloated! The main thing I've heard that's supposed to help is drinking loads of water. I have heard that exercise is supposed to help reduce bloating as well, but I can never get motivated to work out during that time. The water does seem to help though - just drink as much as you can stand. If you don't like drinking water, try Crystal Light instead. Hope that helps!

i hate midol... it takes forever to work, and then when it finally does work, it wears off really quick!

I take Pamprin. That works VERY WELL. You may want to take it with food though, otherwise you'll probably end up with an upset tummy!

definitely pick up some aleve or pamprin. they work the best for me at least.
also, put a warm wash cloth over your tummy (where your cramps are), and lay down for awhile.. that helps a lot too when you get really bad cramps (which i do, so it helps me.. it relaxes me too!)

or, worst case scenerio.... lay down on your bed, curl up into a ball, and cry it all out!

good luck! :)
