Same problem here. I think I have finally controlled mine. I use a gel cleanser and bare escentuals make-up. I also have switched to the Acne Relief lotion from Aveda (not for acne, but it helps control shine) and then I carry around the blot tissues incase all else fails. Seems to be working (3rd week using this regime)

i have shiny skin too...and acne... the only powder that i've actually wanted to repurchase was Merle Norman... have u heard of it? they have stores at malls and sometimes strip malls. anyways, their Luxiva powder is pretty good at coverage AND oil... but u still have to carry oil blotters (shiseido or clean&clear are good) once in awhile. what u do too is u wet the sponge and apply the foundation, and it doesn't feel or look heavy, and the coverage is awesome... :) at least for me!

Outer beauty is the result of inner health. Better concentrate on having nutritional food. Increase intake of water (atleast 8 glasses a day).

I have the same problem. I tried using a matte creme from mary kay and it works ok, but i also carry around blotting paper. Its the only thing that truly helps.
At least we won't have wrinkles early in life :)

Mary Kays Oil Mattifier is the absolute best!! I wouldn't put my makeup on without using it! And it lasts all day. You'll never have a shiny day again if you use it. You can find it here:

Try a different make-up. Use a powder instead.
