legs could be numb from the baby sitting on a nerve and as for the lips that doesn't sound very right. If the baby has dropped you may feel that heavyness in your lower stomach along with a numbness of the legs. Labor could be near. goodluck and congrats

Yes. Numbness can be a sign of preclampsia. Please call your doctor and find out what he or she wants you to do. Most doctor's offices have a 24-hour line for people with urgent symptoms. Don't be afraid to call. It is important to know whether you should be concerned.

Word of advice when you have a concern call your OB doctor and speak to the nurse there or call L&D at your local hospital and speak to a nurse there.
Go call someone right now!

You should be concerned even if you are not pregnant. Anytime your body does things that it shouldn't, it is usually an indication that something is wrong. Call your doctor. . . they are there anytime for you. That is their job. If they are not available, call an ER nurse and see if they think you should come into the ER.

Baby is probably on a nerve. Try changing position, like your hands and knees for a little bit. If it doesn't work, call your doctor!!
