Horrible Parenting. (don't teach their kids manners, right from wrong, consequences, no punishment, etc) People with no values. Easy access to porn. Trashy song lyrics. Suggestive TV shows and commercials on during the day.
But seriously back to the manners thing... when was the last time you went to the grocery store and held the door for a kid and they didn't say thank you or they held the door for you or said excuse me when they walked in front of you? I'm 16 and even I'm disguested by the way kids act now... they're rude. My parents always taught me to be polite and I always say excuse me and thank you. Ah it makes me so mad. And the fact that 8 year olds will try to stand up to you and act like they're the best thing in the world. Not that this answers the ? but just making a point.

TV, meaning shows like Big Brother and all those reality TV programs, and the fact that parents use horrible language around their children and let them watch R-rated movies.....Rap is also absolutely ridiculous, and these artists really need to show some class....cursing every second is so pathetic....use some words that make SENSE! So yea, kids these days are going to be completely corrupted by everyday ignorance...

Parents
I'm a parent and I know how tough it can be with all the peer pressure, pressure from the media and just life in general.
But I've seen so many parents who don't set any boundaries for their kids at all and let them get away with the most outrageous things. I'm not saying that parents have to be rigid, but kids need guidance and ground rules and too many parents just don't seem to care about this, especially when their kids get to be in their teens.

i dont think what u have mentioned above is directly linked to the corruption of kids/youth. i think the problem lies within the parents : little attention extra attentoin no attention , this results that a person does not learn how to build his own morality and have clear judgment on the things that u listed above .
if a child is loved, cared for and is educated in a non biasing judgmental sort of way , his own principles will affect who he is rather than the other way around.

The parents, clearly. There is no one else on whom you can pin the responsibility for raising decent children. Parents who give their children "everything" are just as bad as those who deprive their children of everyday necessities. Bored children are as likely as desperate children to get into trouble, but the bored ones will be malicious and callous, whereas the desperate ones will just be doing their best to survive. Parents should keep their children close and teach them the rewards of accomplishment, but a lot of "religious" people just go on popping out litters of kids with no thought of raising them, because some arrogant church leader has interpreted the scripture to say you shouldn't plan your family. There's the problem.

Parents -- who could stop the influence of all the other things if the just gave a d*mn -- but so many of them don't. Which is why I chose so long ago not to have children and expose them to what the successive generations were going to become. So right, so right!!

Myself.
My son hasn't been affected the same way so many other kids his age have been.
I'm an involved parent and as a family we do more together. We're both into performing arts, so I guess I corrupted him more than anything else.

Our society moving further from God.
Not that I want the Church to force anyone into believeing, I don't want to live in a Religous Autocracy like many in Islam support, even if it is would be a Christian one.
But if you look at polls and Church attendance, the more Church attendance drops, the worse our society gets.
It is not God that is making us un-happy and immoral, it is the LACK of God in our collective lives.
Peace!

Actually I blame my husband for everything. He watches wrestling all the time( hey nothing against it I watch it too, but he started it) and wrestles with my kids. That being they are so violent with everybody and they can definately defend themselves. But I will blame myself for the mouths they have on them, they will tell someone off in a heartbeat. They are only 5 and 3.
