Shorty Horn. He was an old man that went to the same church as I did when I was a kid. He was nearly 7 feet tall, and had been known as Shorty for so long, most people didn't even know his real name. He always called me Fred or George, just to tease me. He was something else. He had some great stories from when he was a police officer during Prohibition in our small town.
He had a carved wood sign over his garage door that said "kwitcherbellyakin". I miss him.
