I love my boyfriend, but sometimes I wonder if it was too soon. This is the first relationship I have been in where Love was a factor. He said it once and I didn't say it back for a few weeks. I kept wanting to say it but I would always stop myself. I wanted it to just come out. The thing that worries me is I was a little intoxicated and we were about to have sex when I said it. I know we're in love, but is that a weird way for it to come out? Just curious.

I guess my actual question is was it bad that I was intoxicated when I finally said it or did I just need that little push to get past my nervouseness of never saying it before.

well i think if what you feel is right ...that you really really love him then i guess you should tell him ....its never to soon ....at least thats what i think i hope my answer helps

Well maybe not weird but it could leave some doubt as to the sincerity. As for it being 3 1/2 months that really depends on the relationship.

Love is possible in 2 weeks if u really feel special with the person so id say you can totally love someone in 3 and a half months

Well, your situation isn't weird, but I don't see how you can know someone well enough to love them in such a short time period. I guess anything is possible but I think you should only say it if you mean it! Good luck!!

even if your intoxicated it doesn't matter most of the time its easier to say things you feel when you're intoxicated but be sure the next time you're sober

My husband told me he loved me after 2 wks, and our love is still there after 6 years. It just depends on if you really know you love this person.

It depends on your heart probably, but you really got to be sure about everything, and you got to make sure you wont regret your choice... i had this problem, and at the end we broke up, so dont make my mistake.

never borrow the opportunity of drunken state to say 'I love you'. it would sound insincere. these three words should be spoken when you are totally ready to speak it out loud. it should come out naturally too. and not forcing yourself to say it.
