Very much so. When was the last time a side made 500+ in their first innings and lost, as Pakistan did? Strauss batted brilliantly and he is proving a cleverer captain than Flintoff. It takes great bowling to win a major Test series and England now have four world-class bowlers again.

It would have been a different contest if Rana Naved al-Hassan had been fit..... but then if Flintoff had been fit too......?

Who would you leave out for Flintoff -- Bell or Cook?

Of course England deserved to win. Pakistan did get a few bad decisions, however the batting in their second innings was spineless. They took on Paul Collingwood for a quick single- the worst decision you can make as a batsman. Another of Pakistan's batsman was run out when they should of just been defending.
Panaser bowled brilliantly throughout the match, and Mahmood bowled with great pace in the second innings. Literally all the English batsmen made runs.
England were the better team in the first test, and won the next two. Enough said.

Yes, of course, well done to Pakistan for beating our score of 518, and then bowling us out for 345, at that time my money was on Pakistan, England have often faltered and failed to get the wickets when they need them, but for England to get Pakistan to 80 for 5 and bowl out the people who got a partnership of over 300 for very little and then get Pakistan to 145 for 9,I think that England do deserve the victory, we did extremely well to bowl them out for what we did, I think we definitely deserve the victory.

England play India in India in October. So no longer an prolonged wait, yet its the attempt sequence that concerns nonetheless over a twelve months away. England needs to play in India to coach who's the final team, and England could be arranged to coach that as quickly as and for all. triumphing in Dubai would not count. Edit: they are going to play attempt suits in 2013 i think of. however the element substitute into India could be overwhelmed in India as quickly as and for all, and that's all that concerns. Its much greater considerable than Ashes now. England is million cases greater perfect no.one million than India ever might desire to be or would be. there's no disputing England isn't any.one million and crystal needless to say than India who ended up no.one million by applying twist of destiny. There are actually not any critics in basic terms sore losers which could be silenced completely!!

England's bowlers played very very well at Old Trafford and Headingley and that was the difference between the teams therefore England did deserve their wins.

Yes but not by much. It all came down to englands openers performing a lot better than their counterparts and also the bowling (predominantly panesaar) was a lot more controlled by england
