You will have lots of fun in visiting this country. Have a plan of which places would you like to visit as you might be out of time because whichever place you will go it seems so irresistible and a very attractive location will surely catch your attention. You won't regret any second of your stay and I would like you to discover them by yourself. I won't describe everything in detail so as not to loose some thrill. Visit Philippines & Enjoy!

I have traveled all over the Philippines and aggree with everyone of the beauty of the land and good people. But, I will be honest, the best part by far is the girls I met there. In my opinion the best in the world both physically and mentally. Like in USA, I date different women. Had a few long term relationships and many short term ones as well. I have currently a girlfriend for the last year and a half and still going strong. Lived in her province, Biliran, last year and loved it. But, I did get bored. Ended up staying in Sabang most of this year. I have so many buddies that travel to Philippines, but they don't have the time and or desire to visit in the province. So basically I've been bouncing around for the past 4 years trying out different areas for months at a time.

Try to get penpals if you don't have any friends in Philippines now. Go visit them in thier place if you have the time. You can meet them in forum sites on Yahoo and through internet searches. They will make arrangements for your hotel and transportation and be very happy to do it. You can throw a big party for very little money in the province. I spent about $200 USD for a beach party for 75 people for example. Roasted a pig, several chickens, seafoods, well the list is endless. Plus everyone had thier fill of wine and or beer. This will be a highlight of any trip. In other words, try not to limit yourself to Manila only, it is not representative to the rest of Philippines.

If you do find yourself away from the big city, make sure to bring some toilet paper, mosquito spray, and always make sure you have plenty of bottled water. Also good to always have your swim suite and sun block as well.

Don't fall in love online. Remember, like any relationship, it takes a lot of time together to make sure you're compatable.

Ive been to the philippines 15 times in the last year and 25 times in my life, I was there last weekend, and will return on the 25th August.

I have travelled all over the country and whilst my trips have often been fun and exciting, I have also witnessed some terrible things in the Philippines that prevented me from returning for 8 years.

The Country itself is beautiful, the people are generally happy and inviting, the towns and citys are often pretty warn down, rugged and dirty, crime is not so bad just as long as you keep your wits about you, stay away from trouble areas, dont talk to anyone who approaches you on the street (lots of street scams) and you will be fine.

Yes I did. Roxas Boulevard (Manila), Baguio and Legazpi City are the best places to go to. They are safe and there lots of things to see. You should see the Baywalk with lights, music, street performers, restaurants, and beautiful sunset. Just loike what she said, don't walk alone in residential areas and try not to bring a lot of cash. Just use your ATM or Credit Card.

i've been there for 12 days in april. it's terrible i mean i've been cheated by my internet partner (dont fall in love with pinays online this is an advice),she left me alone after 5 days and i went to discover and travel all over manila alone with help from my other pinoy friends. they are nice people but dont forget there's still some bad apples in the basket. i would like to go back there again minus the emotional baggage.

-Been there 5 times in the last 3 years
-Food is great, people are friendly(most of them at least)
-foreigners and balikbayans are treated exceptionally well
-cheap and affordable
-nightlife is awesome especially for the single guys

Although the Philippines is a developing country riddled with pollution, poverty, over-population and corruption, the friendliness and beauty of the people makes it worthwhile to visit and one of a kind...

I would like to thank "Emerald Sauna" in Quezon City for their warm hospitality, most especially GRO #21-Suzy...you've been great I'll see you on my next trip.
