The only problems are self-invented. You are both quite at an age suitable for marriage, with hardly any age difference. If you both feel right about getting married, just do it. My wife is 14 years younger than me, and we have no problems. We had a child when I was 52, and she was 38, and we still have no problems.

The three of us love each other very much. We have never had any hassles from anyone else about age.

Just do it - as soon as possible!!

I wonder if your real question is 'what problems will come up with our differences in heritage and background.'

The age difference doesn't even matter... most people cannot guess other people's age anyway and so wont notice an age difference.

As far as coming from different backgrounds and heritages, the important thing is to come to an understanding about what is important to each of you and then respecting each other and supporting each other. You may find some friends or family members will be opposed, but overall, society has become much more accepting and I doubt you will even turn heads.

Best Wishes.

age is only a number and if you both really love each other then don't worry about what anyone will think and as for problems age is not going to add to your problems all married couples have their ups and downs and will too. My hubby is 36 and i am only 27 and our marriage is great we do have our difficulties but everyone does so age should not play a factor in your marriage
Good Luck and Take Care

I don't think there's a problem at all with that. I'm 21 and I married a 34 year old and I love him with all my heart. People may say and judge, but what really matters is what you guys feel towards each other!!

Follow your heart. If this is the woman you love and want to spend forever with, 34 is not too old. Tradition and culture may be important to you, but denying your heart is never good. She is young and can still have children. I wish you both a happy life together.

Age is just a number and she is not that much older than you. It is how you both were raised and you all's heritage difference that will bring the greatest challenges but if you are both in love and willing to give and take things will be fine and you will make it through the hard times.

Remember that old adage, "age ain't nothing but a number"? I am 7 years older than my husband and we've been married for 11 years. She's still young and so are you. There is still time for you guys to have a family. Why do care about what society says -- do what makes you happy, it's your life!

That's not a huge age difference, and 34 isnt old. The only problem you MAY encounter is as you both age it may be more difficult concieving childern.

Well, that's not really that much older. She's probably still able to have children, and if not naturally you could still adopt. Really, it's only 7 years, so it's not like she's the same age as your mother or anything.
