That sounds really funny, but when I was a teen I had bad BO.... as teens, we have weird hormones... u just have to try different deodorants, even mens, if necessary! I know that when I get nervous, I still stink like crazy, and no deod. works.... LOL teens are always nervous about something...

Try different deodorants as most are just cosmetic...try the sports brands and even men's brands as they might be stronger. I suggest a healthier diet...it's awful but some people really smell and they sweat out all the stuff they eat...especially people who use and consume a lot of spices...but greasy foods and fats are just as bad.....and drink lots of water and antibiotic type juices like cranberry juice to wash out the toxins. Put deodorant on immediately after showering and several times during the day if needed.
Sweating is a good thing as it flushes out the toxins...but the kind of sweat you get from EXERCISE not just muggy days...after a while you may find all these factors will make a difference...it could just be the hormones if she is at that age of change and development.

not all deodorants are created equal. it all depends on your individual body chemistry. the only kind that works for me is Dove- Suave and Secret always make me smell worse for some reason. buy trial sizes of all the brands you can find and test them to see which works best. you may need to consult a dermatologist, who can prescribe prescription deodorant which is more effective.
other ways to improve bo include bathing twice a day (particularly if you're like me and live in Louisiana...) and drinking plenty of water in order to flush toxins from the skin. encourage her to wear cotton and other natural, breathable fibers. btw, how's the A/C in your house? try to keep that thing on 75. if you don't have A/C (you know I just found out the other day that up North, most people don't have A/C which is crazy!) anyway, if you don't have A/C, buy a few cheap-o indoor oscillating fans.
if all else fails, bring out the febreeze and the perfume.

I would suggest once or twice a day showers or baths with a fragrance free body wash. If she takes a soak in the tub add some baking soda to the water. It's a real skin soother. Could it be that the hot summer weather is making her perspire more than usual?

baking soda and vinegar in her bath water
rock salt &vinegar in her bath water
nothing should she wear with a scent
please no baby powder this is the worst thing invented for skin use it promotes all kinds of problems!
if she has a vagina odor this must be see by a doctor
i suggest you take her to the doctors anyway she suffers from a over active sweat glan problem which promote odor causing bacteria and is a problem there is very little that can be done about it but what i have suggested works most times
use baking soda on a rag to rub skin often!

Sometimes the soap you are using helps cause the body odor. I would try different soaps and maybe also talk to a doctor about it. it could be something in the soaps or deodorant that when applied to your daughters body chemistry makes a strong odor.

Have her switch to an anti-persperant. A deorderant is basically just a "smell good" where an anti-persperant will actually block the sweat glands to stop the smell. If it's a body odor of a female nature, then you'll need to take her to a doctor. Best of luck to you and her.

Try Linden Voss deoderant, it's fab. Says it's so effective you can even skip a day but if her problem is that severe I would suggest using it twice a day. Or there's anohydryl forte, you put it on at night (stings a little bit) and shower off in the morning - great stuff.

get her to switch to an anti-perspirant deodorant as these actually prevent her from sweating, and so there's no 'stale sweat' smell.
also, make sure she's fuzz free under her arms as this can make the matter much much worse!
tip tho....tell her not to apply anti-perspirant within half an hour of shaving her underarms as this makes the skin more absorbant and the chemicals in the deo can cause problems with breast (cancer, lumps etc) over long periods of time.
