The reason for wanting to do this is because in the bulk folder all images and other attachments are blocked, so I can view the content of the email without exposing my pc to something assuming they are in fact virulent. Opening the email on the Inbox may expose my pc unnecessarily and or validate my e-mail assuming it has a beacon embedded.

you can solve your problem in 2 ways:
1rst: set you browser not to show pictures or other things but txt when accessing yahoo
2nd:define a spam filter very restrictive in the otions ( for example any email that comes from address that has @ char on it , or . (dot) char -- this means ALL -- go to bulk)

Just check the box to the left of the mail you don't want then click spam. That E-mail will be deleted and any mail from that address in the future will go to bulk.

click on the box next to it, go to the area right above your e-mail, and do Mark, then do As spam. or there might just be a spam button.
