Not at all.

If Lieberman wants to run as an Independent, fine. If he wants to run as a Republican, fine. But to run as a Democrat, when he constantly repudiates the party and sides with the opposition time after time.... mulitiple apperances on the Republican media outlet (Fox "news"), kissy-kissy photo ops with Chimpy, being the first member of congress to stand and applaud Chimpy every time he paused during his "big time speechifyin' thing" every January, is wrong of him. Don't just say you're a Democrat just to get elected....walk the walk Joe.

As of what time?? The latest polls Monday said there was a 6 point spread. The election showed a 4 point spread. If Leib had WON that WOULD have been a surprise...sort of like when the exit polls showed Dumbya had lost FL in 2000, but.... wonder of wonders.... if you have a brother as the governor and a Sec of State as a campaign official.... weird and illegal things can happen.

I'm not surprised - in every interview he showed his arrogance and announced his desire to win at all costs by being a sore loser. So now he's going to run as an independent and to hell with all the voters who told him they were tired of the war in Iraq, among other issues. I am happy that Lamont won, he seems to have the integrity and courage to stand up for what's right. I just hope that he wins in November and that this is the start of cleaning house to put a stop to the lies, corruption and representation of corporate interests.

The state was Connecticut right?! No I am not surprised - you don't think clearly when you have to stay indoors 10 months of a year. The lack of sunlight and fresh air handicaps your ability to reason properly!

Nope, Joe committed political suicide in front of the whole country. Now he will cry some crocodile tears and think he will win in November. Say "Good-bye Joe." Joe was never as smart as he thought he was and he beat him self more then Lamont won.

Nope. Now he is disrespecting the Democrats by leaving that party and running as an Independent

Not at all. Dems have had enough of Busch and war. He said he was going to still run as an independent.
