oh...I'm 19 years old! I'm about to be 20, and I don't want to look like I'm in highschool anymore.
Also, if you can help me...I'm trying to figure out a good hair cut...something that looks more adult...but not too adult! Thanks

with a paintbrush not a trowel! hehe
nah just kidding i wear foundation, set it with a little powder, and some blusher. good skin preparation is a must: you wouldn't build a house without foundations. then if i'm feeling creative, i'll use an electric blue eyeliner, shimmery green eyeshadow (like bourjois suivez mon regard one in rayon vert, and top with blue mascara, very striking, especially on blue/green eyes. if going for striking eyes like this, keep lips neutral, and if going for dramatic lips, downplay the eyes so you don't look like a drag queen.

well there are very many techniques and such. The way that I am is that I am dramatic with my eyeshadows and eye makeup and very soft with my lips. I have very full pouty lips so a little gloss or some chap stick works for me.....for my routine I apply moisturizer, then foundation and powder. I apply a eye shadow base and then a light pink/beige color over then entire eye. i use a pink shimmer on the lid and then color in the crease , and I highlight my eyebrow arch. I use a black eyeliner pencil and make a thin line on top on my eye and then apply 2-3 coats of a good mascara. I then use a peachy colored blush a a shiny lip gloss and voila your beautiful

I'm a makeup minimalist.
I wear Covergirl undereye concealer in Fair. Just dab under my eyes and blend with fingertips.
I use a brush (not the applicators that come with the shadow) to apply a pale shade of eye shadow to my lids and slightly above. I then use the same brush to draw a line of darker eye shadow along the crease of my eyes.
I apply one coat of brownish black mascara to the top lashes only. I use Maybelline mascara.
I use a clear gloss on my lips (Covergirl). That's it.

Mac make-up~ Get foundation/base
lighter colors for night and darker colors for day~ Always get the makeup with the three compartments. U will have the darker color on the lower lid once you apply foundation and then the next semi dark color goes in the middle and the lightest color is on top~ Smooth and shade
Same with lipstick~ Use three colors. A dark pencil for the lips and then a darker color for the inside lip and then use the last light tone color for the lips. PERRFECT~

trial and error hun, we've all been there. You just buy some new colours and spend an evening in the mirror trying out different things. You'll know when you like something and when it looks right. Hey I walked down the street with adam ant face paint on!!

one of my favorite things to do is to use a mushroom color (beige)on the inner half of my lid and then do a darker color on the outer part of my lid.it creates a "flirty "look.i use mac makeup.
