Oh yes, I've done that!

And had to wear green serge uniforms with white peter pan collars, too!

It was okay--everybody was way busy trying to figure out where they belonged the first few days, and different groups of girls all tried to show how they were the best ones to hang out with. I did a lot of listening to different people to try to understand where their heads were, how did they think, what they liked and didn't like.

Be sweet to everyone, smile, and ask lots of questions! People have opinions, and they're happy to share them with someone who hasn't heard them all already!

I went to a different lunch table every day for two months until I decided to stay with one group that I liked!

For an activity, I picked volunteering in the library and the nuns taught me 'audio visual' stuff.

Have fun talking about hair, clothes, boys, and classes!

i didn't go to an all-girl's school on my first day of high school, but i went to a public one. if you remember to smile, act friendly, and look approachable, you'll make lots of friends in no time. i've heard that all girl's school's are alot tougher to make friends in, but it really depends on the school and what town it's located in. good luck!

I changed high schools when I was a junior (which ended up being my senior semester, but that's another story....). I recommend that you just introduce yourself. Everyone will be VERY curious about you, guaranteed.
