First, dont worry so much about it. Your mom or her friend is waiting for that special day, or they just dont want to kiss in front of you. Sometimes parents dont want to show affection to much in front of their kids -not saying that she dont love you - but she is not comfortable doing so and neither is he. Just as long as she is happy and he is not being disrespectful to her, then you have nothing to worry about!

Duh! This is a Seinfeld episode. Different people have different comfort levels with physical affection. Perhaps he is just a friend, and not interested in romance?
