My husband and I have one e mail address. We do this so we do not appear to have secrets from each other. It is not something we forced on each other it is just in keeping with the way we are always open with each other. We also share a Yahoo answers account.

I like it but some of our friends think we are too controlling of each othe. I just want to know what the world thinks

My husband used to have alot of e-mail accounts. I used to be secretly upset when I would try to get on and he would change his passwords. Turns out he had accounts that he talked to other girls in (as though he was single). I think its wonderful that you two can share the same e-mail! After alot of counseling I feel secure having the internet in our home, and we each have only one e-mail we openly get in and out of. Trust is the most important thing in a relationship, it sounds like two have that part down. Dont worry about people thinking its a sign of being controling, thats ridiculous.

It doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. It is bewteen the two of you and what works for you is the only hing that should matter. I really don't think it's a big deal. Maybe everyone else jsut has stuff to hide. :)

who cares what we think. it's up to you. my wife and i also share an email acct., but i also have my own; i've had it since before i met her, but i also use it since we have different interests and i have my own friends and so forth. but if you do it to "appear" to not have secrets, that does sound kind of controlling to me, though. do you really need a joint email acct. to prove y'alls loyalty to one another? as part of the world, i wouldn't think much of it, but since you do make it seem like you ARE keeping tabs on each other, that makes me think like your friends. having separate accts. does not make it seem like you have secrets from one another.
