Considering how much money they donated to the IRA over the years. It seems they only started a "War on Terror" when their own citizens were attacked.

Only asking, just interested to know what others think. Opinions and reasons please.

Absolutely. The IRA killed thousands of people across Europe with American money. They are still killing innocent people in Belfast. Prior to 9/11 the US Government didn't want to know. They have now stopped inviting IRA leaders to the White House but they still refuse to extradite the murderers to face justice. Bush likes to pretend terrorism started in 2001 and claim global leadership in that fight. The hypocracy is revolting.
