There is no proof (at least not that's being shared with the general public) that HIV can be spread through saliva alone, without contact with an open sore or other entrance into the body...although HIV does exist in all the bodily fluids of the person who has it.

If you fear it so much, don't come in contact with the fluids of anyone you don't know is HIV free.

Unless one of you has an open sore or cut on your lip or inside your mouth, HiV can NOT be spread this way.

If you have unprotected sex or exposure to blood - that's a whole other ball game.
