i weigh around 115 and im 13 and about 5'2. am i fat??????? and if possible, please list the reccomended weights for different heights and ages.

I dont think you are fat at all. 115 is a normal weight for a 13 year old. And plus you are pretty tall too so you weigh more when you are taller. When i was 13 i used to weight around ur weight and a lot of ppl were concerned that i was too skinny but i thought i was healthy.

ask your doctor what the normal weight is for your height and age. I bet ur doc will say about 115 pounds. Ask ur doctor if you want professional answers.

You are not fat. Everyone feels fat occasionally. You may be getting ready to start a period, and that might make you feel bloated and puffy. It's perfectly normal to feel like that sometimes.

However, if you feel uncomfortable at your present weight, start exercising more and eat more fruits and vegetables. Cut back on fats and sugars, and eat fewer carbs. You will also want to increase your protein intake. Drink a lot of WATER!

By doing those things, you can improve your health and the appearance of your body. You may drop a few pounds, and you will feel better.

Keep in mind, your body is going through a lot of changes at your age. You may have some growing left to do. Be smart. Don't let anyone tell you that you are fat. You do not want an eating disorder!

Look at some pictures of some of your favorite movie stars when they were younger -- like Nicole Kidman, or Terri Hatcher, for example. They all had a little more weight on them when they were younger.

So be smart, eat right, exercise, and don't stress out about your weight. You will be fine!

youre not fat, and youre far too young to be worrying about such a thing, at 13 you should be enjoying your life, and not feeling this way and thinking about doing anything extreme like starvation or anorexia, because most kids your age weigh around the same as you, you are just 13 and really haven't grown into your body yet, you still have a ways to go and things to learn.

Weight range for that height is 109lbs to 131lbs. The recommended maximum weight for an adult 18 - 25 is 125lbs.

honey, you're fine. you're at an age when everything is out of whack. Everything will straighten out, I promise. If you want to do something about it, jog for ten minutes three times a day, or go in one half hour chunk. Start eating healthier. Do push ups or crunches when the commercials on TV are on. even just getting outside for whatever at all for a little while everyday can help.

you are so not fat. if it makes you feel any better i am three inches taller and at least fifty pounds heavier and i think i am one sexy mama...without being a mama...anyways. if it bothers you so much then do something about it. i personaly prefer the way i am im smaller than marlyn monroe, she was a size 14 and was the picture perfect women. plus skinny tooth pick doesn't taste good or look good on me. its better to be happy with yourself the way you are then unhappy with yourself the way people want you to be. cheer up and go have some ice cream

You are NOT fat. sounds like you are proportioned just fine. Dont try to live up to societies standards of looks. The girls you see on TV and in Mags are strapped into their clothing, taped down and viewed only showing their best features. They are fake and not what the majority of males in this country consider pretty anyways.

You're not fat! There are recommended weights! I'm my recommended weight, but everyone thinks I'm anorexic because of how I look. Also you can't determine that because certain things like muscles mess that up! Anyway if you were overweight you would know it.

When you're 13 you're still changing a lot, so you might feel weird in your skin even if you look fine. Stay active, eat healthy, and you should start feeling better about things once your body reaches a balance.
