I believe it started with porn films and magazines; where the pubic hair is shaved in order for the viewer to see more. Men then became used to associating this look with getting sexully turned on. It wasn't long before they were getting women to shave theirs off too! I believe the majority of women only do it to impress men... would they really go through pain, itching, bumps and cuts just for their own pleasure? I think not!

The hair doesn't actually grow IN the vagina. So...you shouldn't be getting a "mouthful of hair" unless you're doing something wrong. Trimmed is nice, because it's hygeinic and neat, but shaved is disgusting, because it causes ingrown hairs and possibly even infections. Yeah, that's sexy.

Is it really sexy to look like you have some kind of animal growing on your vagina? Noooo...
I assure you, women who shave aren't doing it to look like 5-year-olds, they're doing it because it IS sexy. I'm sure most people would rather have a smooth ride rather than an uncomfortable one.
Plus, I was reading Cosmopolitan a year or two ago, and one of the funny stories featured a woman who hadn't shaved her pubic hair. Her and her boyfriend were watching a movie, things heated up, and he decided to go down on her. Well, I guess he stopped mid-action and giggled, and she asked what, and he said nothing. Then, when she went to the bathroom, she noticed what he was laughing about--the gum he had been chewing had gotten stuck in her pubic hairs! Hahaha! Then she had to shave, anyway! Shave--it will save you the embarrassment!

Techinally, women don't shave their vagina, they shave their pubic hair. Many women (and men) prefer the clean look rather than having pubic hair come out from the sides of their underwear. If you don't like, then you don't have to date a woman that does it!

It has nothing to do with looks; Its hot in the summer and with hair you sweat~ So we shave it off. Like you all are suppose to shave y'alls bushy armpits~ Nasty~ And we do not need the bush down below we want yall to see what you buying :)

Women can shave whatever they want. I couldn't be any LESS interested in their parts if I tried.

I will tell you a very funny secret, In chhattisgarh women never shave there pubic hairs, you know they rub some ash over pubic area & pull out their pubic hairs, & they tell they don't have any pain while doing thr pulling them out.
And realy they look very sexy.
