Option code GU6 is a 3.42, GT4 is a 3.73, I believe those were the only 2 available in 05. Look in the glovebox on the service identification sticker, if either of those #s are there, that is what you have.

remove the differental cover.
1- on the ring gear there are numbers stamped example 62:18
or
2- count the number of teeth on ring gear and on pinion gear will be something like 62 on ring and 18 on pinion
divide the numbers for the differential 62/18=3.44 (example)

you can open the glove box and look on the info sticker ion there,,no one can tell you this because they used different gear ratio,s in different vehicles,,it all depends on ,,if it was a special order vehicle,,or just a plain one,,i have seen them with all different ones,,and i own a repair shop here in Tennessee and you never know till you look on the sticker,,hope this help,s.

Most likely 3.73. The 4wd's come with an option of 3.73 or I think 4.10's. I have an '01 Z71 and it has 3.73's in it.
