I would buy any type of Trojan brand. DO NOT get the condoms from the gas station bathroom! You don't know how old they are and the conditions that the condoms have been in. Very hot temperatures can ruin condoms and make them less effective against STD's and pregnancy, and the gas station bathroom condoms may have been through these temperatures. It sounds like this weekend may be your first time, so before you do you need to educate yourself on sex, std's, and pregnancy. I am a nursing student who is graduating soon with my BA degree, and I had to teach some preteens about sex and STD's and all I had to do was show them real graphic pictures of what different kinds of STD's look like and that changed their mind to even have sex. Please, research STD's and weigh the pros and cons, I know that the cons will overweigh the pros of having sex. But if you decide to anyway, protect yourself.

durex is the most popular condom. you can't go wrong with trojon, but i think they smell a little funny. Lifestyles suck. I had one condem break in my life and it was a lifestyle.
Safty being a concern pick one that has a spermacide (very inportant for young guys) An " extra strenght" is a good idea. They make condoms that extend sex time (this is good for young guys) Lubricated condoms are also a good idea. Just in case you aren't quite "ready" for entry.
NEVER USE THE PULL OUT METHOD. You will be a mommy before you know it.

Avoid the ones with spermicide; they can cause yeast infections.
Don't use the lamb ones; they don't prevent certain STDs
