To David Becham : I remind you that England won the cup only 1 time 40 years ago, cheating and not deserving because their goal in the final didn't pass the line. Learn history, then come back.

I wouldn't say nobody likes France, but I do agree that Italy is a better team.

Well, I like France and there are millions of other people who do too. France played with dignity and honour. But I guess fortune always favours fools. Who is this "everybody" that loves Italy? AND ENGLAND CHEATED??!!! WHAT THE HELL??!!! What do you call what Italy does then? Diving to get penalties, insulting other players, match-fixing. That doesn't exactly look like fair play to me. Germany, France, England, even Australia were all robbed this year. I tried hard to accept Italy's win, but when people like you keep on doing this, I get upset about it all over again.That's it, this is the last straw...you rub your pathetic win in people's faces, and if anyone says Italy cheated they get bashed, but you go around bashing other people's teams like this! Now I have been provoked! If England or Germany or France had won this year, we wouldn't be going around rubbing it in people's faces! It's because some people know how to play and win with dignity and honour, that's why! Look at someone who supports a cheating team accuse another team of cheating!!! Compared to what Italy had done, even if England's goal wasn't regular, it is nothing compared to cheating scoundrels Italy, who pay and manipulate their way the entire tournament. It was probably decided in May that Italy would win it. All the other teams showed up for nothing.

A lot of people love France. Touzours is the only example I can clearly remember, but it's not like the people who love Italy totally despise the French.
Besides, it's natural to support the team you think - or, well, thought - would win the tournament.

If you poll this Yahoo Answers category, I'm sure that you would get totally opposite results. It looks like a huge gathering of Italy haters!
Maybe the people who answered the surveys you are talking about knew more about football than our fellow users ;-)

First of all, this goes out to 'Realname', Italia doesn't cheat! France sucks! They didn't deserve to be in the finals! That is why everone loves Italia! And Italia has hot players anyways! lol

why did you say that?? i love france..i won't support a team who played dirty tricks just to win the cup..that's just not right..where is the sport spirit?? so i think that italy didn't deserve to win at all..cheaters are not winners..only the team that played it right would be the winner!! and that team is france..VIVE LES BLEUS!!!!!!

italy have lots of cheaters...like materazzi...like materazzi told zidane bad words...n italy cheated with austrilia in WC...so france all the way...italy's most player is big cheater...italy is stupid...well i think they don't have the right to win the world cup ..team like England,Germany,France,Brazil have the right to win the worldcup....And all those ****** refree of WC...gave a red card to Rooney C.Ronaldo fall down in his wish..Rooney just step in C.Ronaldo's leg n he fall down in his wish....and it should be a red card to materazzi not Zidane...i can refree better than that refree and who said no one loves france from where did u get the stupid surveys send me a link ....my id is tousifcool@hotmail.com.anyways i support England but in the last match of wc i supportted France not italy..

I do not think those polls are too accurate then Dikk, as just as many people support France as Italy.There are people on this site that love and hate both, so can you please post links to these polls to back up what you are stating. I would be interested to view them with my own eyes.
