When I went on the pill, my doctor told me it would take about three months for my body to adjust. It was true - I was moody and depressed through the first three packs, but after a while, I got used to them, and now I do fine. So yes, your body may just be taking some time to get used to this whole thing.
Also, how many days of placebo pills have you taken so far? Your period won't necessarily start the moment you take a placebo pill. (If that were the case, missing a pill one day would cause you to start your period.) It might take three or four days of the placebo pills before your period starts.
I would recommend calling your doctor if you start a new pack of pills without ever having gotten your period. It IS possible to get pregnant while on the pill.

How long have you been on the placebo pills? When I was on the pill, I would get my period right near the end of the placebo week. If you go more than 6 weeks with no period, I recommend talking to your obgyn - it could be something more serious, or possibly pregnancy.

Your body could just be adjusting to hormones, but a missed period can be caused by a lot of things other than pregnancy. Stress can affect it to, so try not to worry too much. You might completely miss your "off" week and have breakthrough bleeding later on in the month. Still worried? Look up your specific type of pill online.

You shouldn't miss. But give it a couple more days before you start worrying. Your period starts about half a week after you start the placebo pills.

it may take a jiffy for a woman to absolutely adjust to being on the tablet. in basic terms save taking the pills on a daily basis such as you're assume too, and that i'm useful your cycle will regulate quickly, and you will probable get your established era next time you're on the sugar pills. provide it time. it is going to return to established quickly.
