The Blue Line goes from O'hare to Chicago with a number of stops along the way and you can also take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line into Chicago from the O'hare area. This site will map both lines for you. At most you would have to walk 10-15 minutes to get to a station.

Unless the hotel is within walking distance of the train station, you'll either have to take a cab from the hotel to the station or a Pace bus (a suburban public transportation service). And on your return trip, most of the L train stations near the airport have cabs waiting there for riders practically all night. The Pace buses stop at a certain time of night, though, I believe. Ask your hotel concierge or desk clerk. There are a few hotels near the River Road and Cumberland L stations. It all depends on where you're staying.

what u can do it take a free shuttle (most ohare hotels have them) to the airport where u can get easier quicker access to the blue line L!!!! because depending on what hotel you're at it could be a mile or 2! call your hotel and ask then how far they are from the airport, is it within walking distance, and do u have free shuttle?

The closests hotels would be Marriott Suites, Westin, Hyatt and Softiel. All would be about 5-10 minutes walking---not far at all.

Just ask the concierge at any of those hotels. You are very close. Most have shuttles and would take you there at no cost.

You'll love Chicago.

Explore it all.
