well, i'm not a teen but i remember being one...always ask about the other person...find topics that you are both interest in...what kind of movies do you like? music? but throw some funny ones in there too, like Do you like to square dance? if she/he says yes, well you learned something about them...if the say no, just tell them you had to know what their reaction would be...never talk about previous dates or former boy/girl friends unless they ask, and dont ask them about 'em either...compliments are good but dont over do it....you could even ask, if we went out again what would you like to do next? that way you can gauge their reaction, if it cold, dont push it but if it is warm and animated you know they like you...last minute advise...if someone casually mentions something that you didnt ask about, remeber it and if you reference it they will know you pay attention,,,it is flattering

I'm not a girl, but i've had a lot of experience. it's always good to talk about something funny that happend in the past. It's a good ice breaker. and try to find things you are both in common with. and try to ask questions, girls usually don't like guys that are not interested and just talk about themselves all the time.

Don't talk about ex-boy friends,or any thing political, maybe talk about music,or some other type of interest that isn't going to cause controversy on your first date.

a good thing to talk about could be
1: what they like to do?
2: fav movies and songs
3: what she or he dose in there spare time
4: compliment on something there wearing

there a start but after that the convo should flow
good luck x

I think a date is a good time to get to know a person. So to me you should ask everything; likes and dislikes, what he like sin his female friends, and etc.

Completely random stuff tends to make the date more interesting.

Talk about music, sports, food, cars, and girls. Thats what guys want to talk about.

What girls want to talk about is: shoes, clothes, music, cute things, animals, not STDs.

Your likes and dislikes, your interests, hobbies, sports etc. Talk about you and him. It's probably the topic you know the most about.
