there are actually two areas called 51 they named area 52, 51 to throw trekkies of the scent. as for cloning i dont think that had been discovered then, however the alien that was captured was a self replicating alien, if you cut any one of its appengdages off it evolved into an exact replica of the host.
thats what my dad told me and he should know cos he was in the army then and he was issued with a green booklet titled,
''What to do if you accost an american alien with seven and a half arms'' My dad says my mum was one ''cos she spends his money like a man wth eight arms''. KEEP WATCHING THE SKIES, regards, johnny seven.

Area 51 is the Groom Lake Testing Facility in Nevada, not far from Las Vegas. Rumor has it that an extra-terrestrial was found in a "UFO" collision near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, and the extra-terrestrial was taken to Area 51. That rumor, just like the rumor that the alien has been cloned, has never been confirmed. One rumor that HAS been confirmed is that the military uses Area 51 to test experimental aircraft -- the SR-71 Blackbird and the F-117A Nighthawk were flown out of Area 51 before the American public even knew they were being made.

Area 51 was moved many years ago. And there was no cloning. That's just a non-sense story. I don't know where the base was moved, but you might want to google it.

Sarge is correct as far as the area is concerned and the planes the americans have developed there.
As far as ET is concerned, it is just NOT true.
As far as cloning is concerned, it has probably been done, but not in area 51.

area51 is basically a huge piece of barren land somewhere in the usa.it is kept under very tight security by the us army and no one,not any unauthorized soul is allowed to enter this place.i'v never heard of the cloning thing but wat i do kno is that when claims were made that the usa had not sent ne1 to the moon,they had faked the whole thing just to compete with russia,the entire moon landing was supposed to be shot here.it is supposed to be the most expensive "movie" ever made on earth,faking all their moon landings.
