Why is Maurice Clarett going to play in the semi-pro Ohio league when he could play in the CFL like many other troubled American football players?

Maurice Clarett would not be allowed to even set foot in Canada due to his criminal record, although I am sure the Canadian government would probably make an exception in his case. Maurice Clarett is a has-been football player. All of this hype around him back when OSU won the National Championship and now he is trouble with the law all the time.
The NFL doesn't want him, the CFL doesn't want him heck even the defunct USFL if they were still in existence wouldn't take him. I say let him rot behind bars.

Because he's going to jail! Hahaha. He's a loser. I'm a HUGE Buckeye fan and he totally ruined the school's reputation. He deserves whatever punishment he has coming to him.
Oh yeah...he also didn't end up being very good after he sat out a year. Also, running backs traditionally don't do too well in the CFL because of the huge field they play on and the three down rule. Quarterbacks are more popular and get the better stats.

I believe the Toronto Argo's have his rights.

Because the guy in charge of the CFL dpesnt like troubled NFL players he said is tried of them coming over there plus he is troubled with the law i dont think he can leave the country

He isn't going to play anywhere. He is going to jail. Such a sad tale for a guy who had some talent. Just goes to show you what poor choices in life can do to you.

Two reasons:
1- He is presently a guest of Uncle Sams

I think he'll be playing in the prison league pretty soon. he just got arrested again last night for having loaded guns and a bullet proof vest in his car. plus he resisted arrest and they maced him.

He's too busy committing crimes to play football...plus he is going to go to jail for a very long time.
