Cliff Burton replaced into purely an overall bass participant. no longer large, yet no longer negative, both. in case you favor to hearken to a good bassist, try listening to: Scott Thunes, Geddy Lee, Phil Bynoe, John Myung, Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clark, Chris Squire, Mike Rutherford , Kasim Sulton, Peter Baltes, etc.

Cliff Burton was merely an average bass player. Not great, but not terrible, either.

If you want to hear a great bassist, try listening to:
Scott Thunes, Geddy Lee, Phil Bynoe, John Myung, Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clark, Chris Squire, Mike Rutherford , Kasim Sulton, Peter Baltes, etc.
