Those were great. I used to love learning through those cartoons. Kids would watch them today if they'd simply air them. I introduced a 2, 4, and 11 year old to the Muppet Show the other day and they love it. It's not as educational, but it's older programming and they love it just the same.

Yes! Especially : Interjections!, Unpack your adjectives, My Hero Zero, Figure Eight.

They also helped me when I had to recite the Preamble.

We would turn the TV to ABC 5 minutes before the hour on Saturday mornings ... no matter what station we were watching to try to see it.

I bought the two DVD set a few years ago and have enjoyed watching it with my kids.

Yes I loved them, they helped so much when I was a kid. I am going to get them on DVD for my son...I really need to put stuff like that back on TV for kids. Some of the programs & commercial shorts are such garbage. I already have to screen for my 2yr old.

My favorite was "I'm Just a Bill"!

School House Rock was enjoyable AND educational......why can't more kids' programming be like that?!

All the old Schoolhouse Rock stuff is out on video and CD now. They probably won't redo it for TV (today's kids are too sophisticated for it. yeah....right....sure)
