it depends the reason you're letting them go. If they want to leave it won't work. Both people have to love unconditionally.

You have to learn to let people and things go in this life. For me it is difficult because I hate change. Prepare yourself for the hurt and the pain and just do it. There are people that I felt I could not live without and now after some years have past I dont know how I used to live to them. Time can heal all wounds.

i am on the same situation, well on the other side, i want to leave my boyfriend for a girl, i am a guy lol... anyways things r really hard as a right now and im trying to leave him and doesnt seems easy to

you just have to. cry, gnash your teeth, tear your hair, whatever you need to do, but you can't hold them back, you musn't. just let go and fall, just land wherever you might.
