If she's your real friend, she should not do such a thing... That is a very awkward thing to do!! You don't deserve such an act, explain to her how you really feel, if she don't understand you, then don't befriend her anymore...

Doesn't sound like much of a friend.
She's obviously so jealous and insecure that she wants to think everyone wants her guy. She wants to hear how great he is, and the superiority of having him when the other person doesn't.
Talk to her about how you feel. Tell her how much it hurts that she does this. See how she reacts.
It might be time to give up on this friend and find some new ones that aren't so immature.

I would dump everybody involved especially if they are telling lies about you. They sound very immature to me.
But if you are the vengeful kind, then wait til she has a really hot boyfriend, and tell her personally how much in love you are with him and how you want to get with him. Get him to go in on the trick, and play payback. Or find yourself a boyfriend/ guy friend who will "go out" with you, and tell him to hit on her. Then go to her and accuse her of stealing your boyfriend. See what she does then.

Michelle, you say this girl is your best friend yet she continually sets you up. You must be a real threat to her. Never the less friends don't treat each other like that. Find a new best friend.

She probably just is afraid of you she kows you could take her man if you wanted to. Dont worry about anything she says or believes about you. If she was a true frind she would stand up for you instead of trying to find something wrong with you.

well hon i think you need to tell your friend where when and how to get off, to let her know that if she doesn't value your friendship enough to trust you then stop wasting your time life is too short. but i wonder what her boyfriend has to say about it all? don't you? anyhow stand up for yourself and stop being her doormat. all the best.

Talk to your friend about it. You do not need to confront her, but bring it up.
Even if it is not fun, you will be over the annoyance of this practice.
I fear that at this point something has happened, and your relationship might be in danger. You should start considering if you might just want to distance yourself from her.

sounds like she may see you as competition, she knows what is great about you and afraid he may too. just try to ignore the guy a little and build up your friend, it will show her where you stand and after you've shown your place-she might realize that you are truly a friend

talk to your friend, maybe something else is going on. Rumors are like fairytales that don't get written down, they get changed every time they pass someone else's lips.
