how bout if a team loses 100 games, that team gets sent to triple A the next year and that teams triple a affilate comes up to the majors. tht'll solve the problem of teams not having their farm team to call up players from. and make it so the triple a team only has a cap space of say $40,000 in the majors. and red sox/yankees fans, you all know that they won't lose 100 games anytime soon, lol.

Ha ha, not a good idea BUT . . . its unfortunate to see teams like the pirates, royals, and devil rays play like **** when there are triple a players for other franchises that have twice the talent as many of the players on the previously mentioned teams. Here in SLC we have the triple A affiliate for the angels and they are good. We have probably 6-8 players that could start for one of those crap teams and I know that other minor league systems have the same quality of players but just don't have the chance in the majors b/c there is better talent above them but if they had the opportunity to play for another team they may be a starter or at least a role player for the major league team

Yeah, right. Try getting that idea past the Major League Players Association. And how many people do you think would want to pay Major League prices to see a AAA team get slaughtered. I mean, other than the people in Kansas City, Tampa and Pittsburgh who already do.

Gee whiz when did the Mother Ship from Planet Stupid beam you down. The Major League teams own the players in AAA.
God Bless You

Absolutely, baseball should definitely do something like this. If a team is not willing to put forth the effort to remain a major league ball club let some other club try it out at the major league level.

Do it like soccer in Europe- bottom 2-3 teams go down, top 2-3 teams in triple A go up.

Yea um, all of the AAA teams are ran by the the big clubs so that wont work.......how bout this just get rid of the Rays, Royals, Pirates and brewers.........this will make the quality of play so much better.

This might be the dumbest idea I've ever heard of... If they do this in European soccer (oh, excuse me "football"), it just gives me another reason to hate that stupid sport.
