The Lebanese military is essentially defenseless against Israel's F16s, tanks and heavy artillery (all bought and paid for by us taxpayers). Israel has terrorized the Lebanese people, killed hundreds, injured thousands, made one-fifth homeless, devastated their infrastructure and fouled the once-beautiful Beirut beaches. So if Bush really believed "every nation has a right to defend itself from terrorism", he would have cut off the money and ammo to Israel when they first started this insanity. Israel claims it is fighting Hezbollah, but by terrorizing millions of people, Israel is just guaranteeing an endless line of recruits for Hezbollah and other extremist groups. It has been sickening to watch and disgusting that I and my wife are forced to pay for this travesty.

The Lebanese army is terribly weak at this point. C'mon, Israel left about 6 years ago, and Syria left about 2 years ago. That's not a very long time for an army to get organized enough to fight the Zionist invaders or the Iran-backed Shia militants.

He did. Hezbollah is part of Lebanese government, and Hezbollah has been attacking Israeli civilians for years. No warning leaflets there, no attempt to minimize civilian casualties, just launch rockets and hope they hit schools and hospitals.

well, they don't have an army like Israel. they have a smaller army. since Israel is killing all the lebanese ppl who do they have left? So yeah. thats wut i think.. but hopefully Lebanon is going to win this war!!!!
