It would depend on your intent. If you defer gratification intentionally, that would indicate immaturity. The willingness to wait for an explanation infers that you are entitled to one. You would be happier and better served without expecting explanations. Therefore, the truth of your question is relative.

I think there are some typos in the quote that make it a little difficult to understand. I think the two places where "sing" is, it should read "sign." Also, it looks like you have "is a sing of real imaturity" and it should either be "Maturity" or "Immaturity" and I can't tell which. But as I do think that the capacity to defer gratification is a sign or maturity, I am going to assume that that is what it should have read.

Certainly the ability to delay gratification is essential for moral and ethical person. One reason that crime is so prevalent is that many people are not inclined to delay their gratification. If you unable to restrain your behavior then you are essentially child like or even animal like.
