A slug with issues. Snails can at least curl up inside..slugs might be more inclined to suicidal tendencies if they have deep-set issues.

a demented snail because they could leave a pretty messy trail because of their dementedness.
a slug with issues normally has issues because it is trapped in a dry area. that means it'll just dry out and die. big deal. that's not as messy as what a live, snail "gone postal" could do.

definitely the slug. He may need counselling, anger management and medication to keep his slime intact. The snail might be demented but his actions will be erratic and not necessarily violent or even aggressive. It has to be the slug..................

I know that you can eat the snail with butter and garlic, for the slug...never tried one.

A snail. It is hard to kill it under that shell. all you have to do to a slug is pour salt on it!
