YOU PROBABLY HAVE A VACUUM LEAK THE EASY EST WAY TO TELL IF YOU HAVE A VACUUM LEAK IS TO FIND YOUR VACUUM RESERVOIR USUALLY IS A BLACK BALL WITH A VACUUM HOSE GOING TO IT AND NOTHING COMING FROM IT, UNPLUG THE VACUUM LINE GOING TO THE RESERVOIR AND SEE IF THERE IS ANY VACUUM THERE JUST PUT YOUR FINGER OVER THE HOSE AND FEEL FOR A VACUUM IF THERE ISN'T ANY VACUUM THEN YOU HAVE A LEAK SOMEWHERE IF YOU DO HAVE A VACUUM THEN THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE CONTROLLER ITSELF.

It's controled by vacuum, so you probably have a vacuum leak under the hood or in the dash.
