It's too soon. I'm a New Yorker and I know people who lost loved ones that day. Whenever there's a cloudless day and I see a airliner flying over I think about it. It still gives me chills down my back. I honestly believe they are trying to do the right thing in the portrayal of it, but beneath it all it's cheap and exploitative.

Do you know that Nicolas Cage gave a million dollars of his own money to the Kritina effort?
I'm not seeing the movie about 9/11. What I hear about it is that it is pretty good, and not political.

I'm not entirely sure how much the movie cost to make, but these days, they're so expensive, and because of all the mixed reaction from the press it shouldn't turn a huge profit. Anyway, if it does, then that's a good thing seeing as 10% of the first weekends box office takings is going to charity and the amount will most probably be quite substantial.

It doesn't make me sick, but as a New Yorker I will say, it's way too soon.
People always find a way to turn a tradgedy into an advantage for themselves, and not just financially. 9/11 just may end up putting Guiliani in the White House in '08.
In addition, without 9/11 what would all the conspiracy nuts do with their time?

Are we just supposed to never talk about 9/11? What's wrong with the movie? Was 9/11 worse than, say, Pearl Harbor or the Viet Nam war?
It's been 5 YEARS. From what I gather, the movie is about two survivors and their story. What is bad about that?

What's wrong with making a movie about 9/11? I personally would rather have it out in the open rather than feel like it's a taboo to have it on T.V. Movies are made about tragedies all the time anyways: Titanic, Flight 93 and other hijacked planes, WWI and WWII movies, Vietnam movies, Hotel Rwanda, etc...

Anything with Nicolas Cage has to be a real good movie, remember Wind Talkers or whatever with those Indian soliders...worst movie ever made!

If you really want to watch a video about how 9/11 was pulled off based on the evdince, you may want to try Loose Change.
Forget the Hollywood/media hype.

Yeah I think the movie was made to soon. Some people haven't gotten over it yet. We know what happened so we don't need a movie to replay it all over again. I know I still remember it perfectly. Even if I was only in the 5th grade.

I won't see it, I have no desire to. But if I did, yes I would probably vomit, and I would find the first long hair I saw and vomit on him.
