There are about a thousand of them. Detroit Speed and Engineering in Mooresville. KT Engines in Concord. Open up the phone book under Automobile Machine Shops. I live in Kannapolis. There's more machine shops around Mooresville than I'l ever know about.

tons..do you mean like nascar team shops or like fabricating, toolshops, diecast and tool, tool and die, mold making, gage design ,what exactly? those areas are rampant with all of the above.
