No,we don't talk about it enough.Too afraid of offending someone or making others uncomfortable!
It should be talked about out in the open and boys need to be brought up today to know it is unacceptable to talk down to their mothers or sisters or other girls/women in general.They need good male role models to teach them it is ok to tell another "guy" not funny!To not joke about rape and how to set limits on their behaviors towards women.

It's a good start. I don't think most men give a second thought to rape until it happens to someone they know. If we can make more men aware of what they can do to prevent it, that's a good thing. Maybe men can start looking for the signs of what a rapist might do, like if they see a guy following a woman home, or a guy lurking around a woman's house or a quiet street, then maybe they will realize they can help prevent a horrible crime.

P.S.- My point was proven, they first guy who answered says he doesn't think about it!
