My insurance only covers birth control pills and Im looking to try out that new Mirena. Who would I call to find out how much it would cost me to do that? My doctors office or the insurance company?

pharmacies don't have Mirena....It's about $400 buck baby! I have one that I got about 2 1/2 years ago...It might be less but it's somewhere between $200-$400..that was with the cost of getting it put in...IT'S WORTH IT!! You never worry...it's so fantastic and after about a year you never ever have a period!!

Call your doctors office.. Also you could try the health dept. if they run programs with BC they may have payment plan that they can work with you to get it.
