My neice is pregnant by an illegal mexican if they get married will he become a legal resident of the united states?

No, but he will be able to live in the US with his wife and eventually take the exam to get his citizenship. You don't automatically become a US citizen by marrying one, despite what movies tell you. I'm a military spouse, and I know lots of soldiers who marry people from other countries. They have to get a fiancee visa for the person, and then after the marraige the person can start going through the process of becoming a citizen.

Only if he applies for a visa and green card and then he is only a nonresident alien. He has to apply for citizenship like everyone else. But he has a good chance if the child is born in the US
