Alcohol. Marijuanna doesn't even appear in my latest National Geographic chart, but Alcohol Poisoning alone kills 1 in 10,048 IN THE WORLD. This statistic doesn't necessarily tell you that marijuanna is harmless, but it does tell you that less than 1 in 340,733 people die from marijunna. So, in order alcohol to be less dangerous per capita you'de need to have more than 34 times more alcohol drinkers than weed users AND weed would have to have a death rate similar to fireworks...

Definitely alcohol is worse. Both can harm you in the long term - marijuana is full of tar and various carcinogens that will go into your lungs, and alcohol causes cirrhosis of the liver.
But alcohol makes you do lots of stupid things, like drive drunk, get into fights or fall down the stairs. Because of this, alcohol kills approximately 105,000 people per year. And that's not counting all the people who get harmed by someone else's drunkenness. (For comparison, cigarettes are responsible for more than 365,000 deaths per year!!)
Marijuana, on the other hand, has never been shown to kill anyone at all. The choice is clear. Stop drinking, start toking!

I'm pretty sure alcohol is worse for your health. Whose heard of anyone dieing of marijuana poisoning? Not me. Alcohol destroys your body if you drink too much and use it daily. It also gets people to do crazy things like get in a car and drive like 100 mph. But hey, I'd rather be caught with alcohol than caught with weed.

Alcohol does enormous damage to the body, there's no comparison healthwise. Behavorially, drinking runs the gamut - from simply being an ugly drunk to murderous violence. It's true that marijuana consumption can result in lethargy and lack of motivation, but good luck finding someone who became violent because they smoked a joint.

Alcohol. Do you really have to ask. Weed has never killed anyone. how many people a year does alcohol kill? Not in just car accidents but all the way around?

Your more likely to hurt yourself with marijuana. But your more likely to hurt your family with alcohol.
