Was this a one-time occurance? If so, it could be you didn't flick your switch down all the way, and it slowly slid up, to turn on. If this is a normal occurance, then it is completely possible that you do have paranormal activity in your home. But by the way you worded the question, sounds like it was a one time thing, and I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know. Why did my bathroom light turn on and off by itself when I was in there? Why did my tv turn on by itself when I walked past it? Creepy huh?
