I've been "hounding" her at work and home for a week as she thought that I wouldn't get tough. I want to make more calls, calls that would possibly make her feel what I'm feeling, but know that 2 wrongs don't make a right!

Let all your bad luck go with it .....you dont need people like that ....and be grateful ...it was cheap at the price to learn the true value of your friendship with this person

Well you could always take them to court. But you should never loan money if you cant afford to give it. A lot of friendships are ruined over money.
