Today's liberals...hhmm...

well, I keep seeing one of yesterday's liberals on my way to work. He stands at the corner of Saxon Blvd. and Enterprise Rd. with a sign that says- "I wasted my youth protesting Vietnam and squandering my time at college smoking hash. Please help."

So, where does that leave today's liberals? LOL- if they have all the answers now, why are they waiting until tomorrow?

Yes. "Together America can do better"
The Liberals are committed to keeping our nation safe and expanding opportunity for every American. That commitment is reflected in an agenda that emphasizes the security of our nation, strong economic growth, affordable health care for all Americans, retirement security, honest government, and civil rights.
Without us who will be there to stand up for the opressed, to stop the Conservatives from stifling science, save the planet, stand up agianst unjust wars, and to give the world hope that America can be so much more?
Besides without us who will be there to silence such extreme m*r*ns as screwedbytheleft?

Would these be the same liberals rolling over for the Muslims? Saviours? Hardly.

No. Today's liberals are tomorrow's conservatives. Look at history. Liberal ideas from the 1950 are the same conservative ideas of today. A conservative is someone who fears the future so much that he will do anything to keep it from coming. A liberal is someone who fears the past so much that he will do anything to change it. You want to follow either of those philosophies? You are definitely part of the problem, not the solution

NOTsaviours of communism,as Ethan dishonestly proposes.

Saviours of what's left of this country Bush & Co. have messed up.Yes.

Like after the Hoover's Great Depression and Bush41's resrecession,Democrats rise and clean up Republican shambles time and again.

And its about to happen again.

They should be!But in my opinion they are way too shy to push their agenda.
Even you are afraid to call yourself left wing. What's up with that?Martin Luther King was left and all great and important idea's first got pushed by the left side.End of slavery, equal rights for women and so on.
Quit doubting yourself and say it loud and proud,I'm left wing and we are gonna change this country!

well... it's a bit of a dangerous statement to think of anyone as a Savior I think...

but many credit "liberal" programs/ideas for ending slavery, pulling us out of the great depression and the civil ritghts movement.

eh, that's a decent track record..

A savior would be the one who can end this division that has grown since 2000.
