And if you have, how do you handle this. Personally, I find it annoying.

I put them on Iggy if they arent nice. I have this happen form time to time

Simple, go to your home profile.. and uncheck the Yahoo! Messenger Settings and save settings...
People will no longer see your Yahoo! SN thus preventing an unknown user to be able to IM you.

I only recieve IM's from people on my contacts but then if i did i would just block them.
