your IE browser has probably gotten hijacked. Have you run your antivirus, anti spyware, and anti adware programs? if you haven't, then you need to. Do you have a reliable firewall? if you don't, then get one. If you use a router, you probably don't need one.

I've got a perfect solution for you.
You're going to want a certain extension for Firefox, called "IE Tab". That this does is open a new tab in Firefox, but it renders the page in Internet Explorer. So it's like IE INSIDE Firefox. It's very helpful for the few pages that don't render properly in Firefox.
You can download and install the Firefox extension here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1419/
When you install it, you'll need to restart Firefox. When you do, you should see a little Firefox icon on the bottom-right of the window. Click this, and it'll open a new tab (depending on how you've set the configurations), but the new tab will actually be Internet Explorer, inside Firefox. You can even tell by, if you click a link, you'll hear the sound effect that IE does.
This should help you to get to your banking site just fine.

get rid of firefox, go with what sites are developed for - IE. Reinstall it. No developers consider firefox in development since its a very low user base
