No. It was a 'mock-umental'. It showed how could these fantastic creatures could behave based on the characteristics and behavior of real animals.

No, It was a Theoretical program on how Dragons would have developed. Dragons permeate all cultures probably from people finding the Fossils of dinosaurs in ages past and having the shaman tell the stories.
